ASSESSMENT ORGANIZATIONS

The following assessment programs offer comprehensive social responsibility reviews. There are many assessments that assess particular dimensions of social responsible business, such as those listed on Consumer Report's GreenerChoices website.

  • Green America's Green Business Network offers a broad social responsibility assessment for businesses that apply for membership. Members get access to Green America's "Approved for People and the Planet" seal.
  • B Corporation is a self-assessment program covering dimensions of social responsibility. B Corporation companies must meet B Corporation standards and amend their corporate governing documents to incorporate the interests of employees, community and the environment to gain the right to use the B Corporation seal.

  • Responsible Purchasing Network - An international network of buyers dedicated to socially responsible and environmentally sustainable purchasing. Our membership program and consulting services provide institutional purchasers with cutting edge procurement tools and resources designed to save money, conserve resources, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
